No WOD this last week, FGB5 this week.

No worries, lads. We'll be back in no time. This past week we had community WODs, and this coming weekend we have FGB5 which will surely be a suitable substitute for Barton Springs...

Buddy up

Wolfpack partner WOD 09.04.10: Barton Springs, 0800:

Run ~ 1 mile (cut short b/c there is a "no running" policy)
~ 50 buddy tow swim, switch partners and come back
~ 30 m wheelbarrow walk, every step stop and execute 1 pushup
Fireman's carry back to start
2nd partner wheelbarrow walk, fireman's carry back to start
(Between partners): 150 kettlebell swings
150 sit ups
150 squats
~ 200 m free swim (did not do: had to pay $ to finish...)

The weather cleared up from yesterday and we had a turnout of 9. Another great morning. Who will show up next week?

Barton Springs WOD #2: 8-28-10

Wolfpack 8-28-10: Rob, Mark, Big Mike, Brian, Jeff, Brad, Aaron, Michael, Chris. 

Another great WOD at Barton Springs! The Wolfpack met at 9:30 AM and things got kicked off at 10:00 AM. We had a couple new-comers join us, and lots of on-lookers with puzzled faces...

Today's WOD:

100m swim,
20 american swings,
20 squats with kettlebell in front rack,
20 pushups on kettlebell,
20 russian twist with kettlebell,
20 kettlebell clean & press,
20 mountain climbers,
100m swim,
100m swim,
100m swim.

Get rested and ready for next Saturday - time and place TBD.
